Course discription : This course deals with principles and applications of key techniques of molecular biotechnology.
    The scope of this course includes basic molecular biology and recombinant DNA technology. This course also covers
     key biotechnologies such as protein engineering and molecular diagnostics. This course is designed to equip our Chem.
     & Biomol. Eng. students with basic but very important molecular biotechnologies.

 

Main textbook: Molecular Biotechnology (4th edition, Bernard R. Glick and Jack J. Pasternak, ASM Press)


Assessment : Midterm exam 35%, Final exam 35%, Quiz 10%, Hw 10%, Attendance 10%
